BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 26. PAHTAMASH LLC looks to supply raw cotton harvesting and laboratory equipment to Azerbaijan in 2023, deputy director of the company for foreign economic activity, Akmal Saliev told Trend.

According to Saliev, negotiations with the Azerbaijani side are currently underway.

Furthermore, the Uzbek company expressed readiness to participate in large projects, such as the construction of high-tech and highly efficient cotton gin complexes on the territory of Azerbaijan.

PAHTAMASH LLC owns four machine-building plants and specializes in design and manufacturing of cotton ginning equipment. The company produces 80 types of equipment and more than 2,000 items of spare parts for them.

“Azerbaijan is our traditional market. We have been cooperating with Azerbaijani partners for many years and looking to expand this business relationship and keep developing the cotton industry,” he noted.

Saliev also said that in 2023 the company plans to build at least seven more plants in Uzbekistan, three plants in Tajikistan, and one plant in Turkmenistan.

The products of PAHTAMASH LLC are supplied to such countries as Turkiye, Russia, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan and other cotton-growing countries.
