The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Jan. 20:
Export floor: Offers 32,000 tons of bitumen.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 34,501 tons of chemicals, polymers and vacuum bottom feed stock.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 38,100 tons of rebar basket and 10,000 tons of cement.
Agriculture floor: Offers 445 tons of frozen chickens, 17,200 tons of wheat, 15,000 tons of rice, 4,400 tons of sugar, 4,200 tons of crude vegetable oil, 1,000 tons of feed barley and 4,447 tons of corn.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 1,000 tons of palm oil from Malaysia, 20 tons of lactic butter from Germany and Belgium as well as 75 tons of steel scraps and 2,739 tons of polyester thread of A, B and C grades.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets. There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
