The value of Iran's export to Iraq will reach $9 billion by the end of the current Iranian year (ends on March 21), the head of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Yahya al-Ishaq said, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
“The value of Iran's export to Iraq has risen to $8.2 billion during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year,” said Al-Isaq.
He went on to say that Iran imported $2 billion to its neighbor Iraq in the mentioned period, while the value of our imports from Iraq was about $140 million in the same period last year.
Chairman of Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce has said Iran is planning to boost its annual trade with neighboring Iraq to $20 billion.
