The book entitled "Victims of the genocide committed by Armenians - Baganis Ayrim", written by Azerbaijani MP
Ganira Pashayeva and editor-in-chief of "Şərq" (East) newspaper, Akif Ashirli, is prepared for publication.
The book, which will be published soon, talks about the facts of the genocide committed by the Armenian armed forces, supported by the Soviet army, in the Baganis Ayrim village of Gazakh district of Azerbaijan on March 27, 1990.
On March 24, 1990, Armenian fighters, using military equipment, modern weapons belonging to Soviet troops, attacked Baganis Ayrim village, killed civilians, subjecting them to unspeakable torture.
17 homes were destroyed by mortar fire, 11 houses were looted. Baganis Ayrim village was occupied on August 20, 1990. In the book "The victims of the genocide committed by Armenians - Baganis Ayrim" the information about the genocide is presented to the readers through the facts.
Main consultant of the book is the Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Azerbaijan Khanlar Veliyev. Presentation of the book, which is planned to be published in English and Russian, will be held on March 24 at the Ataturk Center.
Based on a scenario of co-authors, a documentary film started to be taken about the genocide in Baganis Ayrim committed by Armenian forces, supported by the Soviet military.
